Abstract

ASSISTANCE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MEASURABLE FISHERIES POLICIES, MAKING FISH FEED, AND UTILIZING
DIGITAL MARKETING. Muara Village is a village located in West Java Province which has a potential area for developing capture fisheries in the coastal waters of Java. Fishermen in Muara Village are members of a fishermen's group, the Joint Business Group "Muara Bahari" in utilizing marine fisheries resources to get their catch at Bondet Fishing Harbor. However, the fishing activities carried out are still traditional and have not implemented measurable fishing policies as part of the blue economy, this has an impact on the lack of sustainability of fish resources. The process of handling catches that is carried out does not pay attention to the added value aspects of fisheries. By-catch products have not been processed optimally, resulting in fishery waste that is wasted without being fully utilized, especially the accumulation of shellfish waste. Partners' understanding of marketing techniques is also still limited because the system for selling catches is still dependent on or entangled with middlemen, making it less supportive of the industrial world which is currently in the era of digitalization. This community-based empowerment is urgent in overcoming partner problems. Community Partnership Empowerment Program at the University of 17 August 1945 Cirebon, offers partners solutions in the form of 1) Carrying out socialization and mentoring activities for the Implementation of the Measured Fishing Policy in accordance with Indonesian Government Regulation Number 11 of 2023 concerning Measurable Fishing which was implemented on 31 August 2023, 2) Training fish food making skills 3) Marketing through digital marketing using WA business. These activities are carried out using various methods including lectures, discussions, training and practice, mentoring, monitoring and evaluation.
